Here are my general likes in fic:-Tsundere top is helpless for the scrappy bottom for whom they're always risking themselves to try and get out of trouble-While we're on it, troublesome boys. Or, as I describe it, 'boys who need to put their money where their mouth is, but have no money'. Looking at you, Vaan and Reki and Ryuji and Jonouchi and Sokka.-Class differences. Class differences. CLASS DIFFERENCES. Give me the street thief meets nobility love story. I mean, FFXII. I mean---HUGE on details about magicks, the feelings and sensations of using them, and the effect on the caster and the target. What does it do for the mind? The body?-I love when a character is in trouble and the other one has to get them out of it. Bonus points if it's swapped, and the troublesome character comes to their rescuer's rescue.-Survival stories. My favorite stories to read and write are how characters survive when stranded, lost, trapped, and totally without anything but their powers, their rations, and themselves. I love a survival story that brings two characters closer.-Anything with pirates and thieves-Indulgent descriptions of airship mechanics-Indulgent descriptions of monster lore-Unlikely alliances
Here are my general dislikes in fic (for exchanges, requests, or squicks)(This does NOT mean I don't like these things in general! This is purely for requests and exchanges!):-Unrequested AU's-Unrequested trans headcanons-Unrequested ABO-Unrequested character death-Unrequested queer and gender-heavy dysphoria/issues-Genital piercings-Graphic, detailed descriptions of pregnancy/pregnant bodies (vague descriptors are fine, ie "round with child", "expecting")-NSFW squicks (these turn me off and I also avoid fics with this content in general): Waterworks, scat, sounding, prolapse, bloodplay, period sex, asphyxiation, crying during sex, use of the word 'pussy' or 'snatch', amputation, spitting-Torture and body horror/medical horror: Any descriptions of these are a big NO for me (for requests, exchanges, or ANY fic/art in general!), but I do like when characters are held captive and I'm fine with glossing over torture, (ie, "After days on end of torture, he lost track of time and could measure it only by the new lashes and bruises upon his body"). I like whump, but I'm also a whimp.-Overly feminized bottom-characters
